Tip 1: Turn notification sounds from the PC settings
Step 1: Open PC settings

Step 3: Click on Notifications & actions
Step 4: Under “Get notifications from these senders,” click the app you want.
Step 5: Shut down the Play a sound when a notification arrives toggle switch.
Step 6: Repeat step 4 and step 5 to mute the sound for other applications.
After completing these steps, your application will not be configured to play sounds, but you’ll see a banner at the bottom right corner, and notifications will continue to be listed in the Action Center when they arrive.
Tip 2: Turn off the notification sounds using control panel
Step 1: Open Control Panel.
Step 2: Click on Hardware and sound.
Step 3: Click the Change system sounds link.
Step 4: Under “Windows,” scroll and select Notifications. On the “Sounds,” drop-down menu, select (None).
Step 5: Click Apply > Click OK.
Once you have completed the steps, you will continue to get bread notification and Action Center will work as before, but you will not get annoyed with the same sound over and over again each time a new notification arrives.
